Mining & quarry equipment

Mining and quarry operations need an integrated production plan. The loader, haul fleet, processing system and support services must be considered together, within the operation’s engineering and regulatory requirements.

Separate the production stages

Define the extraction, loading, hauling, crushing, screening and stockpiling stages. Ask the project team to identify the required material outputs, operating conditions and acceptance requirements before discussing a particular equipment spread.

Look beyond the largest machine

Compare the loading arrangement with haul routes, unloading points and processing capacity. Include service access, maintenance support, wear parts, water management and the equipment needed when a primary machine is unavailable.

Distinguish research from an operating plan

This section introduces equipment categories and buyer questions. A mine or quarry’s extraction design, ground control, blasting, traffic systems and operating methods require the responsible qualified specialists and site-specific approvals.
